It's only Wednesday and lots of things have already bugging me this week
It bugs me..
at the end of the tribute to Christopher Reeves on the CH4 News they finished with the statement "Christopher Reeves, who will always be remembered as 'The Caped Crusader'". Um...no, that would be Batman you morons.
the way some people write the number "7" with a line across it like a "t". Don't tell me it's to distinguish it from "1" because that means your "1s" are wrong too.
when I get an unsolicited call from a call centre in India and I hang up because I can't be bothered to ask them to speak more slowly.
when I hear Americans drop the "h" from the word "herbs"
that my isp doesn't block spam
that I can't understand what black British female rappers are saying
that scriptwriters for TV commercials have kids using 1980's slang.
when someone knocks on my door trying to sell something.
when movie makers have foreigners speaking English to each other in their own homes.
