David's twisted mind

Yesterday I had a migraine. This was my 3rd in 5 years which is pretty good compared to some sufferers. I was eating lunch and noticed some blurring in my peripheral vision. Thinking it was dust of a fingerprint I cleaned my spectacle lenses but that didn't help. Two minute later my periperal vision in both eyes began to shimmer like sunlight on the surface of a lake and both my hands were shaking. I then recognised this as the onset of migraine and immediatley took some ibprofen and went to sit in a darkened room. Sure enough the headache started within 5 minutes centred in my right eye. It spread downwards until other the teeth in my upper jaw were hurting and spread upwards across the top of my head and down to my neck. The painkillers kicked in after half an hour and I went to to bed and slept for a few hours. When the ibuprofen wore off the pain returned and so I took some more and went back to sleep.
The next time I woke up I was much improved but my eyes were very sensitive to light. I wore my sunglasses until the sun set.
